Membrane Bioreactor (MBR Technology) is made up of the combination of submerged type Ultrafiltration (UF) membrane filter in either hollow fiber or flat sheet configuration.

MBR system also integrates biological aeration comprising of activated sludge to decompose incoming nutrient load. This configuration significantly improvises overall operational effectiveness and reduces space requirements.

GreenPebble Technologies’ proprietary MBR system utilizes reinforced PVDF hollow fiber membranes as a submerged module. GPT's MBR modules are suitable for a variety of applications and capacities and they come with flexible designs for easy installation. 

GPT's MBR plant system integrates a submerged hollow-fiber membrane with a specifically designed bioreactor system that breaks down complex substances in wastewater and the MBR membrane filters out product water. Our MBR system can replace a conventional wastewater treatment system comprising multistage operations with a more modular, easily deployable and integrated solution that is easily maintained and operated.

GPT's proposed MBR system consists of a primary treatment screening stage followed by MBR membrane module- thus reducing operational footprint and improving process performance. To get even further purification, it is possible to treat MBR product water by adding a Nanofiltration (NF) or Reverse Osmosis (RO) stage.

Solid substances larger than 0.03 microns are removed by the membrane and clear treated water, having almost no solid particles and harmful pathogens- is recovered. Due to its increased reliability and excellent product water quality, MBR is an ideal technology to meet strict environmental compliances.  

Membrane Bioreactor (MBR) technology is mostly preferred as it eliminates the requirement of additional settling tanks and reduces the overall asset footprint compared to the conventional size and it results in an overall cost-effective solution.
